Den 17 december (söndag) kl 19:19 är det planerat att Thunmansskolan i Knivsta skall genomföra en amatörradiokontakt med Christer Fuglesang ombord på ISS.

An additional EVA to fix the solar array issue is being looked at for Sunday, Dec 17 or Monday Dec 18. If the EVA is scheduled, an additional docked day will be added.If they decide on a Sunday EVA, we will likely lose the contact with Sweden for that day. We should get pass times for Monday ASAP to try and save the pass.
We may not know until the weekend so let folks know the contact date could move last minute. Things are very dynamic at the moment.
Please inform all parties involved.

Students from the Thunmanskolan School, Knivsta, Sweden are scheduled to take part in an ARISS contact with ESA Astronaut and STS-116 Mission Specialist Christel Fuglesang SA0AFS/KE5CGR. The contact is expected to be conducted in Swedish. This will be the Scandinavia’s first ARISS school event and is planned to take place on Sunday, December 17, 2006 at 18:19 UTC. The ground station supporting this telebridge event will be VK4KHZ located in South Australia.
Live audio will be availalble on IRLP and EchoLink as part of the ARISS Audio Distribution Project.
IRLP users can connect to the main channel of "Discovery" Reflector 9010. The audio feed will begin approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled contact time. Streaming audio will also available through www.discoveryreflector.ca:8000/listen.pls (expect a 2 to 3 minute delay on this stream).
EchoLink subscibers can connect to the *ZK1ZRW* (277 208) and *AMSAT* (101 377) conference servers. Please use *JK1ZRW* as your primary connection. Audio feeds to both servers will begin approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled contact time.
